Hi! My
name is Sarah Coullard, and I am new to St. Andrew's School
for the 2006-2007 school year. I teach K-8 Art, 3rd Grade
Language Arts, Kindergarten Computer, and Kindergarten Phys.
Ed.
I am a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, and I
also attended Kendall College of Art and Design. I studied
art and design for the first three years of college, and then
decided to become a teacher. Not only do I have lots of art
experience (I've always loved being creative), but I also
have an Elementary Ed. degree, as well as an Early Childhood
endorsement. The variety in my college experience has enabled
me to be a very well-rounded teacher! In addition, I have
been trained in the Orton-Gillingham method for Dyslexia,
and I tutor twice a week at the Masonic Learning Center in
downtown Grand Rapids.
I live in Rockford with husband. In my spare time I love to
travel, scrapbook, ride my bike on the White Pine Trail, go
to concerts, try new restaurants, and spend time with friends
and family.
